Critical Legal Warning

 

Under Section 3(1) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), any NGO that publishes a registered newspaper, magazine, or news periodical is strictly prohibited from receiving foreign funding or produce or broadcast audio news or audio visual news or current affairs programmes through any electronic mode. 

 

Therefore, if you are planning to apply for FCRA registration, you are advised not to apply for this registration.
